
September General Monthly Meeting
For this month only our meeting day was changed from Friday to the Thursday as the RSL had a function on the Friday. Not sure if this change caught people out as we only had 61 members and visitors attended the meeting compared to 91 in August. We did have 16 apologies on the day. YAMBA TRIP SEPTEMBER 2019
On a fine Sunday morning 31 headed off on Brian’s Coaches to Yamba for the next 5 nights. After picking everyone up, we left the Peninsula just after 9 AM and headed down the motorway. We stopped at the BP at Chinderah for morning tea early lunch and then also stopped at Woodburn for a comfort stop before arriving at our motel in Yamba around 2:30 PM. We had a very good trip down with no delays. After checking into our rooms we had time for afternoon drinks around the pool. L

AUGUST MONTHLY MEETING
The President opened the meeting at 10:45 AM welcoming a record 93 members and visitors. The President then presented Dee Rennie from QIMR with a cheque for $1000 as the branch's annual donation. Treasurer gave us her report on the club finances which are looking good. All subcommittee reports were presented to the meeting. All our outings are well supported.
