Christmas in July Lunch

Our trip this month was an absolute pleasure even though the weather was wet and cold, it was very enjoyable.

Stopping at Toorbul for morning tea looking across Pumicestone Passage towards Bribie Island, we were soon back on the coach! Then off to Caloundra Indoor Bowling Club, where we were very well looked after. Four ladies, all volunteers, cooked us a Christmas meal that was so good. Chicken, ham, and beautifully cooked veg. Yummm. Desert was pavlova, cheesecake, apple crumble and ice cream or custard!! Then six packs of shortbreads to take home. We had a great day, all thirty one who attended this month!
