Christmas in July Bus Trip

Over 40 members went on our Christmas in July bus trip, and despite the wet start to the day, we all had a pleasant day. Morning tea was at Cleveland Point, and that’s when the rain stopped!! After a lovely morning tea we headed off to Redland Bay to catch the passenger island ferry. We visited Russell, Lamb, Macleay and Karragarra Islands where we watched the locals getting on and off the ferry. We stayed on board and just enjoy the scenery and the beautiful clear water. The sun started coming out on our journey. Back on dry land we then headed off to Redland Bay Golf Club, for a very nice Christmas themed lunch. After drawing our Christmas Hampers raffle prizes it was time to head off home after a relaxing day. Had a good drive home and the traffic was not to bad. Great day.
