Trip to The Barn & Scotty's Garage

In April our bus trip took us to Flagstaff, to visit The Barn & Scotty’s Garage. On the way we stopped at Lake Apex Park in Gatton for our morning tea/ coffee break. There was a school cross country going on at the park as well. Our driver, Warren had everything organized.

From there we hit the road again for Flagstaff, about half an hour away. Scotty’s garage is a take-off of an American cafe of the fifties and sixties, with a mix of old cars, motorbikes, and paraphernalia, including a juke box!! Very much like the early milk bars of that era. Great place to visit. After the tour of the garage we enjoyed a very nice lunch at Barn, and plenty of tea and coffee to help, a good day was had by all.
